    Score one for Brown

Scott Brown joins Nixon Peabody law firm

Posted by Aaron Blake on March 11, 2013 at 12:04 pm

Former senator Scott Brown (R-Mass.) is joining the law firm Nixon Peabody LLC as counsel in the firm’s Boston office, Nixon Peabody announced Monday.

Brown’s practice will focus on business and government affairs, particularly in the finance and real estate industries.

“During my time in politics, I never hesitated to reach across the aisle to work with members of any political party to secure a preferable outcome,” Brown said in a statement released by the firm. “My approach is consistent with the way Nixon Peabody does business and I believe we can be successful together.”

Brown lost his Senate seat in November to now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and opted not to run in a special election for the state’s other Senate seat. He is still considered a potential gubernatorial candidate in 2014.

Brown recently signed on as an analyst for Fox News Channel. He’s also heading to New Hampshire in April, a move that suggests he might be interested in running for president in 2016.

Scott Brown needs to run for Governor !

Even sane Democrats realize they need a Republican Governor to clean out the nest of liberal thieves on Beacon Hill.

    Read: Lobbyist-in-training

“he will be leaning heavily on his Washington contacts to drum up business for the firm.”

The position will also allow him “to begin cashing in on his contacts with the financial services industry, which he helped oversee in the Senate.”

And the revolving door of power spins again....

That's pretty much what I think as well. I wonder if this means no run for Governor.
