    In response to portfilio's comment:

Right wingers  said he was the greatest president of all time, that he saved us from terrorism despite 9/11, that he made the economy great, and that he was unreproachable.  In fact, when the Dixie Chicks made a harmless joke about him they were criticized and endured many threats against them and their families. Despite all the pretended virtues and high praises given to him, he started the recession, two needless wars, lied about WMD, and is the world's most hated political figure since Hitler.

When the Iraq national soccer team was asked how they felt about Bush, all said he could go to hell.  To this day, there are no public tributes made to him neither in Iraq nor Afghanistan.  In fact, both nations have fallen into anarchy thanks to the wars that he created.

By contrast, right wingers used to attack Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton as two incompetent presidents. Yet, today both have kept high public profiles, are honored all through out the world, are far more popular today than they were during their administrations, and made numerous fund raising appearances during the November election campaigns. While the right wingers hate both, the majority of Americans (and the majority of people world wide)  honor both of them.   For example, Clinton's policies were criticized during the Rwanda civil war.  He was called a failure for "ignoring" the genocide there.  Yet, he publicly appeared in the streets of that country (without police or military  escort) and there were massive demonstrations in his favor.  Therefore, his actions were not failures at all.  By contrast, Bush has yet to appear on the streets of Iraq or Afghanistan.  If his interventionist policies were so great, why hasn't he made the same public appearances Clinton made in Rwanda?

So where is Bush? where are his public appearances? where are his defenders? why no public tributes to him in Afghanistan or Iraq?  why haven't his two wars been paid for (he said oil revenues would pay for his wars, if you recall)?  why didn't he appear on tv during the Romney campaign to support his party's drive? Calling Bush, calling Bush .....

    (QUOTE)

Wow, more lies.......big surprise.  I have NEVER, EVER heard anyone, anywhere, refer to Bush as "the greatest president of all time".  In fact, most (and certainly everyone here) say daily that he was an awful president.  We admit this all the time, yet you just choose to ignore because it fits your silly ideology.

The truth is, Bush was a problem. However, he is a genius, an "Einstein", compared to the incompetent fool that has been elected twice by low information, uninformed, welfare-ites.  We currently have the worst president in history destroying this country and you want to know where Bush is?

Bush is minding his own business, staying out of the spotlight, and not exploiting the current disaster for his own purpose.

Conservative said he was the greatest president of all time?

    Most despised since Hitler?

The Iraq soccer team as political pundits?

What on Earth are you smoking?

If you are going to put a strawperson up there, at least do some work on it.

    Wishful thinking.

You'd almost think the history books will be written by the likes of hannity, malkin, etc., but they won't.

No they won`t, you`re correct.  However they will be written, and when the truth is told, this current incompetent will be "written" as a miserable failure that doubled the debt, doubled the amount of folks using government assistance, and fostered the most divisive population situation in history. It will be written that everything he touched from January 20,2009 through January 20th 2017 became dramatically worse.

A great legacy for the worst president in history.

    In response to Sistersledge's comment:

The GOP likes to pretend that his actions as president don't effect us any longer. The reasons( The Bush Doctrine) for invading Iraq were criminal. But in my opinion the worst thing that Dubya did was to ill prepare the country for it's future. I don't blame the GOP from distanting themselves from him.

So true.  Bush was nowhere to be seen during the campaign because Republicans knew he would be a serious thorn on their side.

By contrast Clinton and Carter were highly visible during the campaign for Democrats and raised huge amounts of money and votes for them.
