We're on the hunt for the best and most interesting parent bloggers in New England. We already know of many, and will highlight them here, one at a time. But we're also looking for your suggestions, so post links here to your favorites.
How it will work:
Monday: Blogger introduction
Tuesday: Blogger posts 20 facts about him or herself
Wednesday: Blogger's favorite post and why
Thursday: Blogger takes questions from the community
Friday: Blogger shares favorite blogs and why. Blogger may also nominate another blogger for us to feature.
You are invited to join the discussion each day of the week our blogger is featured! Just post your comments in that day's discussion thread. And if you want to nominate a blogger for us to feature, please post your ideas right here in this thread.

I'd love to be featured. I'm a working mom, living in Newton and blogging since 2007. I write a lot about "having it all" and started The Having It All Project to feature guest posters as we try to figure out what all means to each of us. Check me out at http://busysincebirth.com. Thank you!

Kid Friendly Cambridge is the blog and calendar of community events that I created last summer as a recently arrived Cambridge resident. You can read about how my personal activities menu evolved into a blog or read about my background working on the calendar of the Seacost Mothers Association.
I'm not entirely sure I qualify as a parenting blogger
, but my blog is certainly FOR parents and other caregivers.

Hi! I'd love to be a part of this.
I am a freelance writer, blogger, and the creator of Honest Mom: http://honestmom.com. I write about raising my young daughters and managing depression - which started with PPD for me. I started Honest Mom to connect with other moms and create a space for women to both vent and laugh.
My work has been featured in baystateparent magazine, the Huffington Post, Scary Mommy, and Bonbon Break.
In addition to my writing, I am an outspoken voice in the conversation about moms and depression. I was interviewed by Katie Couric about the topic in March and was featured in a March 2013 Parenting Magazine article about parents and depression. On Mother's Day I am part of the http://PostpartumProgress.com Mother's Day Rally for Moms' Mental Health.
I'd love the opportunity to reach out and connect with moms dealing with depression and generate more awareness about it. Regular, everyday moms deal with depression and it's my goal to help lift the stigma.
Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!

Jane Roper is one of the best! Her blog began on her own site as she became mom to twin girls and covered the difficulties and joys of raising twins. She then blogged at Babble.com for a few years and now has her own wonderful site again:
http://janeroper.com/blog/
Jane takes a funny and truthful look at raising children today and the highs and lows of parenting. Last July one of her 6 year old twin daughters was diagnosed with leukemia and her blog has become a witty and candid look at what life is like with a child fighting this disease…and what her family goes through, including her twin sister. Her posts will make you smile, and cry, and nod your head in agreement. She has been featured in several publications including Salon, The Rumpus, The Millions, METRO, Babble, the NY Times Motherlode blog and the Huffington Post.
In addition, she is the author of a wonderful book called: DOUBLE TIME - How I Survived—And Mostly Thrived—Through the First Three Years of Mothering Twins.

I'm a local runner, blogger, and freelance editor. I blog about postpartum depression, cooking, raising two small boys, and trying to keep it together in the face of PMDD, a tough mood disorder.
I've been blogging since 2001 but have had my current blog (It's Not Like a Cat...: http://itsnotlikacat.com) since 2007, when I realized I was pregnant right after I'd completed my first triathlon (so THAT'S why I was so tired!!).
Thanks for your consideration!

My friend has a great blog about raising a child with severe allergies. She talks about her experiences along the associated fear and anxiety, and also shares helpul tips about safety, dealing with schools, allergy safe substitutes, full recipes and more.
