Pet doors can be dangerous b/c they're big enough for babies and toddlers to pass through, therefore giving the child access outdoors (think pool, busy streets, etc). Good Morning America did a piece on this problem yesterday. There have been over 100 child injuries/deaths resulting from children passing through pet doors. If you have a baby or toddler consider sealing the pet door until your child is older. Inconvenient, yes but important for your child's safety. Link to the GMA piece below...
