They just announced it about an hour ago - strongly urging people to wait till next Monday for trick or treating, etc. -

Bellingham, from bellinghamma.org:"..Halloween Trick or Treat has NOT BEEN CANCELLED, however please be safe in neighborhoods without power. Additional police personnel will be stationed throughout town this evening. The town's library located on Blackstone Street will be open until 10pm this evening. This is too funny. I was listening to WBZ on a battery-powered radio this morning for school closings. While they read the list now and then, they kept saying we could go to the web site for the complete list Guess all you need is electricity and internet, doh! Radio, the old reliable!We had one tortreater tonight, who didn't get the message. -

The Police Chief Kevin Mooney in Lincoln has announced that Lincoln will celebrate Haloween, including trick-or-treat, on Saturday, 5 Nov. It is not cancelled, just postponed. -

I kept checking, but my town was postponing late. So I lit up the house and waited for the door bell to ring. It didn't. We have a long driveway. Not an inviting one to trick'n treaters. Last year I had only 4 - so no door bell rings this year didn't surprise me.
This morning I found, that our town has postponed until Sunday. Do I feel stupid? Yes. Will I do it again Sunday? No. One Halloween evening is enough for me. -

Westford has postponed it to Sunday November 6- trick-or-treating due to power lines and trees down. Many of us have no power. We had worse damage than the ice storm of 2008. -
