I know there was info on this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.
I would really like to get a maternity session done if I can find someone with the right price. I have seen some packages that include maternity, newborn and 3-6 mos which I really like, but they cost as much as my wedding photos!
any suggestions?

We looked into professional photos of our dog, and we couldn't find anything for less than $1000 (cheapest package)! I hope you find a package for less than that. Just bumping up the post in case it gets missed by someone who found a great deal.
Oh, and we didn't do that, by the way, even though I really did want a portrait of me and Gracie done professionally. She won't always be with us... But, I made a photo book at Shutterfly for $10, and I think it came out reallllly great. Not professional, mind you, but great. I bet your DH could do something fabulous and creative with a digital camera that you could create a wonderful keepsake of your pregnancy with if you can't find a photographer that will do it for a reasonable price. -

I'm planning to contact that person, but if it's too much my BFF has said she'll take photos for me/us. She's pretty handy with a camera. -

check out http://lindseylightphoto.com/index2.php#/home/ we used her for baby photos and she was much more reasonable - a CD of our images was included- she didn't force us to buy the images or prints separately. -

This is the photographer a friend used. The pictures are great, but I know nothing about the pricing... Well, I know it was very reasonable, but my friend knew her, so not sure if she got a special rate.

Ditto Benice! We LOVED Lindsey Light and her prices are very reasonable (the session she did with us was much less than what it says on her website). If you go to her blog check out baby Zoe. :) I bet she'd do beautiful maternity photos. -

I had my maternity photo by a photographer in Kingston, Massachusetts, and he did a wonderful job. He and his wife make you feel very comfortable, and the shots are excellent. You can visit his site to see some of his maternity photos. http://www.keeganphoto.com. I highly recommend him!
And, we did a newborn, six month and one year package with him that was very reasonable. The photos are great! My son is 2 1/2 and we have kept going back. -

Poppy, I had to lurk! Those pictures of Zoe are incredible! How did you ever get such a little baby to look so happy and expressive!
I did maternity portraits with journaling every two weeks throughout my pregnancy with Andrew Mariner photography. He's a friend and does amazing work, but his website is not complete yet! -

ML - :) I'm glad you like them! She was SO good during the shoot! Very smiley at first, then she got sleepy and slept through some of it, then woke up again. Lindsey was great with her, kept things moving.
I love that you did portraits every two weeks when pregnant! That combined with the journaling is such a wonderful keepsake for your baby.
