Brad Park and Jean Ratelle probably have had the most playoff appearances of any NHL player and never won a cup. They both lost in the finals to the Bruins in 72 and then twice went to the finals with the Bruins and lost.
I don't have the stats, but I can't think of any other players who have been to that many finals without winning. That's one way to describe choker.
Another way to describe choker is underachieving, that has to go to Joe Thornton, best record in the league and they get DUMPED out of the first round? Complain about the Bruins in the second round, but at least they went 7 games. -

In 1994, people in Detroit would have said "Steve Yzerman".
Kind of difficult to pin the label on an active player, wouldn't you say? -

Brad Park and Jean Rattelle always played awesome for the Bruins in the playoffs. If the rest of the members of the team played as well as those two the B's might have more Stanley Cups.. -

Bruins would have had at least 2 more cups in the early 70's , if it wasn't for a goalie by the name of Ken Dryden -

You can pick a tonne of players who played a thousand games and not win a cup. Do we call Gilbert Perrault, Marcell Dionne or Darryl Sittler chokers... NO, they just happened to play on teams that were not good enough to win. -
