Boycott the Bruins & all things NHL

Fellow Bruin fans, please consider this request to boycott all things NHL, including attending the Bruin's games and buying Bruins merchandise...NHL management has ruined the game and Bruin ownership has ruined the Bruins.  Force the owner to sell; if he starts bleeding money he will.  Pehaps most of you are too young to remember when the Bruins had character and grit; most importantly they would stand up for each other.  This current team is mostly soft, perhaps a result of the high salaries -  these players do not want to risk anything; but the net result is that out stars are targeted with no fear of retribution.  Savard must be questioning why he should return to this team.  The fans certainly shouldn't.

You can't move an original 6 team numbnut, that would have to be approved and voted on by all 30 owners... not gonna happen!

Are you serious, for one they have to approve moving any team.. and lack of following is a big reason that they would. if there is not attendance and ratings, they certainly can move the team, it almost happened in pittsburg (thought not an original 6) it happened in winnipeg, and quebec, there is constant talk about it happening with the isle etc.. not new franchises that are just floundering, but established teams that would move for various reasons..

Not to mention Jacobs isn't selling, he's got ownership in TD bank north as well.. you think he would sell to someone else and let them play there at a rate that wouldnt continue to bankrupt the team?

Just to clarify something you said here, Jacobs does not have any affiliation with TD Bank, but his company (Delaware North) does own the building that bears its name. Thats how he makes his real bread and butter... All the profits from concessions go right into his pockets, and ticket sales are just bonus to this guy...

Also, I find it very very hard to believe any owner would let an original 6 team move.
