nyr defensman brian boyle who actually scored 2 goals himself last night qouted after the game "KESSEL IS AN ALL WORLD PLAYER" and he continued for abou 45 more seconds on msg about how kessel is tough to contain and really keeps our d on our heels! enough said -

Enough said after the first of thousand Kessel post and threads started by you. Its a shame Phil did not want to play in Boston, but I gaurantee you every GM in the NHL would have done that trade and 100% of them would say the Bruins got away with highway robbery on the Leafs.

you are right.If even SOME hockey pundits thought the Leafs got a good deal then I could understand someone debating the issue.But when not 1 knowledgeable hockey writer thinks the leafs got a good deal,a sane person would realize the Leafs didn't get a good deal.I've stopped trying to debate crazy people. -

Yep, because Toronto gave us one already, and potentially another..plus Knight AND allowed the Bs to get rid of a one trick pony who the players and coaching staff didnt like...which is not opinion but a fact. -

The haters need to face it, he is becoming a world class player. Kessel is going to score 50 goals this season if he stays healthy and there is only a handful of players in the world who can do that so yeah he is a world class player. Sorry to the Kool Aid gang. -

Actually, if Toronto had signed Kessel to an offer sheet which they were going to do the Bruins would have got a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick. As it is they got two first and a second with the trade. I really don't think the Leafs got taken because they were going to give up a 1,2 and 3 anyway. The Bruins didn't want Kessel because they had no cap space and thought they didn't need him. The Bruins got lucky by getting Seguin so in the end its not going to matter. Kessel for Seguin will probably be a pretty fair deal. But if the Bruins had ended up with the 10th pick instead of the 2nd it would have been the worst trade in Bruins history which is why Chia had better wake up next time. -

People who think Kessel will be better than Seguin long term are idiots. I think it was the best trade Boston could have made for a spoiled brat one way player name Kessel. Seguin looks great out there and will continue produce -
