Lucic, Chara and Rask play in New York, but won't play tonight vs. Toronto? What the bleep is this? Lucic vs. Komisarek should be a given. And we don't even get to see Rask or Thomas, but Sabourin?

For some of us, this is the only game where tickets can be had.

This is a shabby way to treat Bruin fans who live in Ontario and have to put up with Maple Leaf fans and media 24/7.  They could have saved either Lucic or Chara or even the Thomas/Rask for tonight. What a hose job.

Not much better in Boston being ignored by the media 24/7.
And camp for us this year is 500 miles away.

oh boo hoo for beer league belly, yee oldee winesock and co. sorry but bruins fans in canada have no special rights or privleldges or do they own any special status as fans. if you want to see a game then pay the ticket price in toronto or montreal or edmuton or whatever when the bruins come to your town in the regular seasons games.  or better yet hop on your dog sled or snowmobile and come to boston to see the best team on earth in the best city on earth lol.

I don't think you get why it is hard to get tickets in Toronto or Montreal.  They sell out up here. not sure if Bruins fans in Boston know anything about sell outs anymore.

But hopefully they put Thornton-Bégin-Bitz together so you can see some beating. Marchand would fit nicely in there as well!

Lucic-Komisarek ain't that exciting anymore... it's just a given Lucic will kick his a**!! lol

I just heard that the Nov 10th vs the awful Islanders is sold out. I am guessing most of the games will be sold out this year with a season ticket holder base of 14000 in a stadium that only holds 17000.

Things are back to normal now. YOW is back and KD is spouting more babble.

Its pre-season - chill out. They used to play throughout New England for all us fans - not this year. At least you get to watch opening night - I'm screwed with DirecTV.

Claude Julien won the Jack Adams award. I have to think he knows what he's doing when he sets the lineups for pre-season games. It's based more on preparation for the season and getting looks at guys who may or may not make the team, as well as giving some guys who are definitely on the roster some game prep. The fans have to be secondary when it comes to filling out the lineup card.

Stinks, but the B's have to do what's best for the team, not necessarily the fans (especially in Toronto's barn)

Simple facts: It was a pre-season game. And an early pre-season game at that. If you go to ANY pre-season game in ANY sport and expect to see all the starters, you are way off base. And given that the Leafs & Coke were giving out FREE tickets to last night's game, I'd say people got what they paid for. Hose-job? Shabby treatment? Not even close...

I guess living in Vermont, you have no idea how hard it is to get a ticket in Toronto, especially to see the Bruins or Canadiens. Even for pre-season. It is in no way like it is in other NHL towns.

Coke Zero did give away a lot of tickets, but that had nothing to do with Boston's roster choices. And outside of Boston, the Toronto market has the most Bruins fans.

The Bruins used Chara, Rask and Lucic in New York. At least one of those players - and even Tim Thomas - could have played in Toronto. All bring unique value for their respective positions as a Bruin.

I don't think seeing at least one of them was expecting too much.

It was good to see Bergeron, but he was basically setting up a bunch of AHL players with limited skills. Some fights, yes. But seeing Bitz get pummelled wasn't all that much fun. Seeing Begin get tuned was fun.

Lucic wont touch Komisarek. He smart not to with Colton Orr around . heheh Colton orr would make what happened between Lucic and Komiserik look like a girl fight.
