    Carcillo makes it four

Dan Carcillo has made my short list of players that would make cheering for the bruins very difficult, if they had ever traded for that player.
The other 3 on my list are; Sean Avery, Claude Lemieux, and Ulf Samuleson.
Does anyone else have a player(s) that they would, or would have, hated to see in the black & gold?

kenny linseman played for the bruins as a "agitator" "pest" even had a nickname "rat".....he soon became a boston fan favorite after serving time with the flyers & oilers....he could get under the skin of the opponent with the best of them....the biggest difference with him & all of the above mentioned players (maybe with the exception of ott) he wasn't the "drama queen" these guys are.....boston wouldn,t accept no drama queens & thats what exactly these players are

No Habs fan, believe me but at least Tremblay would fight...and was under rated in that regard.

Refreshing not to see all the diving in the B's/Flyers series.

If he played for the Bruins we would love him - If we rooted for Chris Nilan we can root for anybody.

Risebrough Tremblay Houle Jarvis Carbonneau Lemieux Larose or any involved on the habs checking lines of 70's and 80's they all were lumberjacks with their stickwork compared to Linseman.

    C. Lemieux.  Ulffie.  Chelios.  Moose Dupont.  See the pattern?  Cheap-shot, hit-after-the-whistle cowards who seldom stood to back up their garbage.

It took me a while to get used to Linseman, also to Brad Park.  I recall going to a Caps-Bruins game at the Garden a couple of months after The Trade and rooting for a Capitals rookie to whip Park's butt.  I came around on Park, who is one of the top 10 defensemen ever to play, young Ray Bourque learned a lot from him.

I'll second most of those already mentioned and then add Mike Ribeiro, Scott Hartnell, and Dale Hunter (I'd take his namesake Tim, though - he'd end Carcillo's nonsense right quick).

Looks like two categories - guys you just hate and guys you hate because of cheapshots on Bruin players.  So yeah, Turtle Lemieux, Chicken Samuelsson.  Any of the '70s Shab teams. Current guys like Lapierre and Ribeiro for sure.  Same for  Avery and Ott.  Older guys - Dornhoeffer, Greschner, Fleury, Foligno.  I grew to hate Secord and Magnusson.

D'oh!  How could I have forgotten Ribero and Hartnell for current players?  Might as well throw Darcy Tucker on that list too, although he seems to have cleaned up his act in Colorado.  I wouldn't have wanted Tie Domi either.  Too much ridiculous nonsense when he played for the Leafs.

I was pretty happy when the Senators signed Alexei Kovalev.  I don't hate the guy, but I would have if he played for the Bruins.  With Ottawa, he would have a chance to stick it to the Habs regularly, and his "enigmatic" play would cost a division rival some wins.

I never thought that I would warm up to Begin, but he has been a good Bruin.  Maybe not good enough to re-sign in the offseason, but I hold no ill will toward him anymore.
