FLYERS - A bunch of goons and poorly coached team

I hate the flyerss! I never thought i would say that about a team.  I like canadian more than the FLyers atleast the canadian play a clean hard nose game.  A bunch of Goons including their Captain, MR.  They were desparate and out to hurt in my opinion.  I can undertand a good hit but shoulder to head to any body is just a bit too much especially in the middle o fthe ice.  MR knew and saw DK in the middle of the ice,  there is no need to ram him up wiht your shoulder.  I think if you look closer he leaned in with his shoulder on Kreji.  You see Johnny Boychucks hit on ellis, he could have leaned in with a shoulder too but he just stood him up with 2 hands to knock him down.

I think this has to do with the coaching style of PL.  I am proud that the Bruins showed so much discipline but enough is enough.  David Kre is out and possibly AM, unbeliable.  I dont care if it is a clean hit or not there is no need to lean a shoulder to shoulder in the middle the ice, that just shows you how bad they want even it means you can possible hurt the other player.

I never thought how bad a team can be until i have seen this years FLYERS.  Oh and then this is this Carcillo guy, what another @#$%^.  I hope no NHL team ever pick him up because he is liar/drama Q and a purn GOON.  If you want your star players to get hurt they he is the #$%^& that will do it.   In my minds just his style of hockey the only way that keeps him in the NHL is just embarsssement to himself and to any org that he plays for.  Dont get me wrong a good hit is a good hit but no need to injure.  I dont even want to see the rest of the playoffs sick to my stomach because DK is out.  How can you bounch back from this oen Bruins? Gosh i wish the next game Shawn T, just beat the living #$%$%^ out of both of them Carcillo and Richards.

I can't stand the Flyers either...but you can't complain about legal checks that aren't cheap shots.

It's unfortunate that Krecji got hurt. But you don't want to see the Bruins players pass up a chance to (cleanly and fairly) knock a guy into next week just because "it's possible" that the opposing player could be injured, do you?

I sure don't. Even when played cleanly, hockey is a tough game.

The hit was clean, bottom line. Its unfortunate that DK got injured but what can you do. If a B's player had the same opportunity on Richards and it had the same result would you still be here complaining about the hit probably not. And until the league and officials do something about the whining, diving and over the top embellishments your gonna have players like Carcillo, the sad thing is that he actually has some talent to play the game.

As soon as Chara threw that soft "buddy pass" from the boards, I knew the recipient (Krejci) was in trouble.  I looked up dislocated wrist & it stated that in some instances the bones will realign themselves without surgery.  Hopefully tendon or ligament damage isn't too severe.  Samsonov was never the same after his wrist surgery.  Krejci's must have been pretty bad to require immediate attention. Luckily, there was a hand specialist in attendance.

Apparently Gagne could play tomorrow night.  There is no way in hell Savard would have been back if the Bruins where trailing 3-0 against the Sabres.

If Gagne want to return it is up to the management to tell him that it is not a good idea.  It shows that they don't care at all about their players.

They really think that they will comeback from a 3-0 deficit because of Gagne?

    bruins fan,

what are you basing this argument on...this is playoff hockey...a style that the Bruins fan have come to love over the yrs...if anything they are a image of our own team in the past...goons??? has there been a fight yet?  Is Carcillo a meat head? Of course but any worse than Avery, Ruttu, Ott etc etc...Goons have no place on the ice...Carcillo has been one of their better producers...Richards hit, totally clean, it was a suicide pass that was met with a flyer body on the other end...Campbell destroyed Umberger a few yrs back with a similar hit...what has hockey turned into when teams can't hit, fight and have the occasional injury...

Asham, Carcillo, Richards can all play the game...if they drive teams nuts then they are even more valuable...Begin, Ference, Thorton, Lucic and Chara are they all goons b/c they hammer people and drive the net...

And if you think the Flyers coach is preaching this kinda play you really know nothing about hockey...his teams in Carolina didnt fight nor were they permitted to...

This is hockey!  Hockey! A contact sport with injuries and legal fights...I just don't get this post...if anyone should have a post its Chara for throwing a suicide pass up the middle at a speed that had him set for the big hit...

Can we stop with the Richards hit -- it was legal.

Stop with the decision process on Gagne playing -- doctors.

Finally -- please stop with the Chara pass -- fast sport with split second decision making hundreds of time per game -- Should Chara have analyzed how close the nearest checker was to DK and not make an outlet pass that created a goal? If he passed it up the boards and had it picked off by the Flyers --  we would have to listen to why his headman passing s*cks when he had players open up the middle.

Philly a poorly coached team ? HuH uh no way the Flyers were dead in the water before Framingham's pride arrived to fix that mess. Laviolette is good coach.
