Is there a player or a deal you wish/think the B's could have (and should have) gone after? All I've seen today are deals that make me say, "Thank God that BS didn't come here." -

Chiarelli has told us he is more interested in trading players than signing free agents. He's looking at alot of players to either trade Savard and or Thomas. He is also looking at Kevin Bieska, a defenseman from Vancouver. -

Best move today = no move ....we didnt need anymore player unless we could trade TT.....this roster is now the roster that will have the chance to win the Stanly Cup in 2011 Congrats guys ....
Stanley Cup to the BRUINS in 2011-2012-2013 (only if Wheeler stays)
Signing Wheeler would be the best news of the day .....
Congrats Mr Chiarelli ! -

or he cuda brought in colby armstrong, the 30pt sniper for 3 million a year!!! boston already signed their fa's, if we had signed sidenburg and paille and boychuk and traded wideman for horton all today everyone would be happy, just because he got a head start who cares! its better than to overpay for guys. people complain about recchi and pailles contracts, but big deal, they are role players and make just over 2million combined!
all these guys complaining he is doing nothing should just get over themselves, why does everything have to be done in one day? they could still trade savard ryder and thomas in august for crying out loud.
relax, take a deep breath and quit whining like a bunch of babies, there are 30 teams, its not easy to win a cup.
im going to go back drinking my kool aid waiving my pom poms now -

NAS - if he duplicates his fight total from last year, he will earn approx. $183,000 per fight. That's better then the guys get on Friday Night Fights on ESPN. -

PC just sits on his hands too often. Waiting on a kessel deal worked out great, but he needs to deal thomas. Pats had riches at qb in 2008, but they didnt keep cassel and made a trade that yielded alot less than they hoped. Bill knew he had to pull the trigger because you can't pay any BACKUP the salary of a top starter. Time to choose, TT or Tuukka, I think we know the answer. If you want to win a cup, use that $5 mill on anything that can contribute every night. -

PC needs to trade Thomas, PC needs to trade Ryder, PC needs to sign every free agent available. PC has done nothing. All these comments are ridiculous. PC is trying to move Thomas and he's already added Horton, Seidenberg, Seguin and some other pieces to the puzzle. He is slowly building a winner the way it is supposed to be done. You wait and see Boston return to the form they had two years ago and carry it throughout the playoffs. -

I believe Chicago's back up this year was payed the salary of a starter and we know how that worked out. -

Football and hockey are very different. In football, the starting QB will play almost 100% of the games. In hockey, only the elite play more than 85%, putting more emphasis on the backup goalies.
