Rask should have his own nickname-- but a good one. Not like "Rasky" but something like Recchi's new nickname, which I officially baptized him with-- the Recching Ball.
Any ideas? Need one for my blogs and am coming up short.
As our new ninja, he deserves this.

He'll earn a nickname as he goes along- based on his habits, quirks or accomplishments. Patience my friend. The best nicknames are earned, not assigned. -

Kind of difficult as Tuukka is pretty much a nicknamey sort of moniker. Hockey players are pretty lame when it comes to bestowing nicknames; they probably just call him Tuukka or Rasky. Ugh.
Best nicknames on the team are Bitzycat and Munch. ;-) -

Seriously, I was at a preseason practice and Rask and Boychuk were on rookie duty (picking up the pucks), and Rask just HEAVED the milkcrate out onto the ice. What did those innocent boxes ever do to him, I ask you? ;-) -

I thought sports was SUPPOSED to be something that made you happy. Fun, you know? A break from the grind of daily life. Enjoyable.
Why some people want to make it into a miserable experience is beyond me. -

His reputation was the be calm and cool while in goal. Perhaps the whole milk crate thing was a watershed event for him. That, or Thomas' attitude has rubbed off on him.
