Cashman, hodge and Espo. It would be great to slam a few beers and listen to them reminisce about the good old day's.

Or just Neely for 3 rounds, and we have to wait on Ulf Samuelson's group every hole (and it's raining).

    I can dream can't I,  LOL.

Ken Linesman---although I would have to check his scorecard at the end of the round.

Jay Miller---single season penalty minute leader just in case someone hits into our group

Cleon Daskalakis---You need a goalie in the group as they are all whacked.  According to wikipidea (Cleon) can sometimes be found shopping with his significantly younger girlfriend, a beautiful blonde Caucasian female, at Nantucket hot-spots such as the Lily Pulitzer store "In The Pink".

Depends.  Given that it's golf, I might go with smart, slick guys like Oates and Ratelle.  If we're just talking 3-4 hours and a few cold ones: Shore, Orr, Bourque.  Love to hear those three compare notes.

Stan Jonathan because anyone who can kick a s s like that has to be fun on the links.
Steve Casper because he lives up in this area and I hear he gets good discounts.
Michael Ryder because he'll be "ex" soon and I just want to ask him what the hell happened to his game.

Re: If you could play a round of golf with 3 Ex-Bruins who would they be...

    • O'Reilly. I interviewed him after a Bruins game in Buffalo in 1980, and it wasn't until I played the tape on the way to work the next day that I realized how truly funny he had been during the interview. The Sabres had been running him all night, and I asked him how he paid guys back. His answer: "You wait until the referee's not looking and then run them through the boards."

    • Don Cherry: Again, back in the old Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo: After the game, reporters waited for the opposing coach in the hallway outside the visitors' locker room. When Cherry (who was coaching Colorado) came out of the locker room, he was talking, and I don't think he stopped for 10 minutes. He had everyone there laughing their faces off. This was Scotty Bowman's first year in Buffalo, and Cherry gave him a funny-as-hell nut shot after I asked him if he was seeing signs of Scotty's system taking effect in Buffalo. Cherry smirked and said, "Well, I didn't see Lafleur."

Cheevers. I work with a guy who was once driving a car with Cheevers and a couple of other guys, and he said Cheevers had him laughing so hard he had to pull the car off to the side of the road.

Orr and McKenzie were my heroes. All those guys from yesteryear were. My brother saw Neely play in a Pro-Am one time. He said, "Neely can really spank a golf ball."

Well, if Nevin is busy at an autograph signing festival, I would have to say Darren Banks!

Or I could just go with Moog, Bourque & Neely...

Dude, Bourque is an all-time great and he's definitely not a traitor.  The Bruins were out of contention that year so they traded him to Colorado so he could have a shot at the Cup.
