    In Response to JJ's Loyalty:
[QUOTE]I don't know how many of you saw Jacobs' comments that he had allowed the Bruins to deteriorate because he allowed his "loyalty" to his employees to overrule his better judgment. This very neatly ignores his own poisonous impact on the team's fortunes, particularly in the decision to allow virtually all players to walk prior to the lockout. In what must have been a weak moment, he has already acknowledged that that was essentially his policy, not that of his hirelings. I guess Jacob's idea of "loyalty" includes kicking people even after he has tossed them in the street. This guy truly is a world-class creep.

You people act as if rich idiot owners cannot ever have winning sports teams.

    Exhibit A: George Steinbrenner

    Exhibit B: Al Davis

    Exhibit C: Wayne Huzienga

    Case closed.
