Alexei Ponikarovsky and Tomas Kaberle...Chia to help complete the Brian Burke shakeup...

I heard Keith Tkachuk has a really nice walker - better then the one Glen Murray was pushing around a couple years ago for the B's...

He will be a PP specialist.  He would be our version of Bill Guerin.  Tkachuk is a tough MF

Please god no... Not another geriatric way past his prime. This team needs an infusion of young talented scorers, not another MA born guy looking to close his career playing in front of his grandkids.

Are Sinden and MOC back in town running this team again? W T F is going on.

    Re: Keith Tkachuk

WHY is it that every year a prime UFA is available the Bruins go looking for the oldest, slowest available wingers to fill the ranks...

    Recchi
    Satan
    Tkachuk
    Whitney
    Ward

These are the rumors our local Bruins media come up with. Until Dreger says it, I think it is all speculation at this point.

Please, please someone under 30 Chiarelli. Some of the elder statesmen that we take on are just silly. Boston regroups 3 times in their own zone then slowly crawls up the ice. BORING and no scoring whatsoever.

    Re: Keith Tkachuk

Tkachuk would do well in a Bruins uniform but I really wanted him last year He would have been good to have in the Canes series but St. Louis needed him in the playoffs.

I'd rather have Whitney or St. Louis instead if were going to grab a playmaker. That of course if Chicago or LA finally ends my hope of Kovalchuk.

Darren Dreger is going to be on the second intermission, talking potential trades, of tonights Versus Pens-Sabres game that is if your not stuck with Direct TVs battle with Comcast.

Raffi Torres he's under 30. Now i'm sure there are allot better and allot more out there but i'm only looking at sellers and teams looking to dump salary.

He's off the books this summer, every contract is pro-rated at this point now. Maybe the Bs own second since we have so many good 2nd rounders already.

    Re: Keith Tkachuk

I previously said no, in a knee-jerk response, to Tkuchuk.  But, the more I think about it, and what he could bring to the table, i'm inclined to reconsider.

He's a big body.  He has great hands and he could handle a Savy bullet-pass with little difficulty.  Unlike some previous big bodies on Savys line.  The only down-side is his speed.  And if we get Whitney as well, that's just going to be some rediculous depth at forward.

So, I think both Tkuchuk and Whitney would definately make this team a better team.  They aren't barn-burners, but they both do have exceptional talent and skill.

This could be what Chiarelli's thinking too.

    Lucic / Savard / Tkuchuk

    Wheeler / Krejci / Tkuchuk <-- That's an upgrade

    Thornton / Begin / Tkuchuk

PP  Whitney / Savard / Tkuchuk

So, I recant.  Tkuchuk would help this team significantly in the short run.
