i say if we can lock up kovalchuck long term krech starts in the trade talks and we would have to make sure we get rid of enough salary to replace the players voids we would have to fill in plus to add believe it or not it can be done just look at the c of red in washington now it would bring excitement back in the building and this can fill jj concessions win win for all
this would be cap hit next year
looch $4 Savard$4 Kovalchuck $9 $17mill
sturm $3.5 Berg$4.75 Wheeler $2.5 $10.75
Paille $1.2 Sob $.750 Bitz $.7 $2.65
total for forwards plus two spots left $31.2
chara$7.5 Stuart $2.5 $10 mill
Hunwick $1.4 Boychuck$1.4 $2.8
total for d men $13.6 with 1 top 2 d man to sign
$6.4 for the goalies and a total hit with the new projected signings equals 51.2 million leaving more then enough to fill roster out thats not including the draft this year where we will probably get some one to insert in roster
Gone are krech wideman having bad year but potential is there ryder for cap reasons hamil 1st rounder this year and 1st next year i think they would bite

Krejci just had the best period he has had in over a year. Finally looks like last years player.
