    The Anemic Ruins Offense

This is just like the Dave Lewis Days,

Great defensive hockey...but will somebody put a puck in the net

At this pace...500 season and they will fight for a 7 or 8 playoff seed

If out PP is the bottom of the barrel and we are a .500 tean then there must be a few things that are going well.

    Jennings anyone?

The Bruin's have scored 3 more goals then the Kessel-less Leafs, and the Bruin's have played one more game. That is not encouraging

    Re: The Anemic Ruins Offense

The PP is the main reason. Last season it clicked the first 30 games and made teams pay with their PP. That was the main reason for the Bruins success .
It just makes your opponent back up and play you differently when you have a pp that works.  They're always on their heels second guessing.
I'm sure the Bruins are working on it every practice but it's just something that you need patience .
This is where Krejci is suffering most but then again even with Savy there it was not working.

I have not looked at any stats but I'd be willing to be we have let up far less goals, which is encouraging, if Toronto is the measuring stick.
