    Thomas not to blame tonight

I am often critical of Mr. Thomas but tonight he was the man and he was hung out to dry by virtually everybody.

They played a great first period and then it was downhill from there.

10 games is a good sample size here and this team is in some serious trouble. Injuries or no injuries because no Lucic & Savard hasn't really changed how they've played for the most part.

It's looking like a 5th or 6th seed and crossing your fingers for a good first round matchup at this point

And Thomas gets help from his two friends THE POSTS !
Again,  these two points belong to Thomas.  Ottawa outplayed the Bruins overall.

Exactly... Bruins getting some lucky points but they cannot count on the posts for much longer... big games vs the Devils who beat Pt tonight and the NYR/Pens coming up

The Bruins got points out of Philly and Ottawa with there 2 best forwards out for a month. You're calling this luck!? Try hard work with a scattered lineup!

    We were very lucky tonight.

Something to ponder. If we win on Thursday, we'll be at 13 points, exactly where we were last year after the same amount of games.

Luck favors those who work hard and never give up. There are still several key areas that need improvement, but the last 3 games have given fans a reason to believe they can do it. GO BRUINS!

I should add that the goalie is part of the team therefore call it a team effort.

Nice to see posts crying about the Bruins losing before the game is even over, only to have them win it.  Lookin good gkr2 - keep it up.

As Branch Rickey said, luck is the residue of design.

You don't come back from a 3-1 deficit in the final minute and a half on luck. You do it with concentration, effort, and heart. It's no coincidence that it was Recchi and Krejci who scored to force the OT, nor Bergeron scoring on the shootout. Those are three guys who know all about perserverance and hard work.

Ten games into the season is pretty darn early to be pushing the panic button. I seriously doubt any of the Bruins are giving up. Why should the fans? The playoffs are months down the road; enjoy the journey, not just the destination.

TT made the save of the year on Alfredsson. Fisher pots the Senators 3rd goal off Bergy's skate and a post. It happens.

Luck or no luck... they found a way to win.
