Andy Brickley will tell you that offense starts in the defensive zone...remember last year when Wideman and Ference were both playing above their heads and Hunwick was logging quality minutes?  They created a lot of offense - getting someone to be the Dennis Wideman of early to mid last season would help the offense more than you can imagine...

A Kaberle or Phaneuf could do that - it's just a matter of what you have to give up to get them...which would probably be Krejci...

Nobody will agree with me, but their D is a bigger weakness than their O right now (assuming Sturm and Savvy are back for good now)...

Honestly, I don't really give two s---- what Andy Brickley thinks.  A guy who has only 9 goals and 12 assits (21 points) to go along with a $6,500,000 cap hit, is not going to make much of a difference.  The Bruins need to get rid of Wideman and replace him with a solid D-man.  Then go out and get a scoring forward!

Calgary is desparate for the same thing the Bruins are.........scoring. Not sure we have much to offer them in that dept. this year. Trade deadline can't come soon enough.
