Did he not stop one of the best player on a breakaway ? Hold on ,  he stopped two of the best players in this league. First Malkin and then Crosby.

Timmy played great until the last 12 minutes or so... but how many nights can he single-handedly save the team? His last 5 starts should have all been wins!

Hold on... Who won... Hold on... Thomas could have worn a butlers suit the way he handed over the game to the Penguins.

Yes,  and if the Bruins are to go far this season he just cannot make those mistakes and he knows it that he effed up.  You can see it he way he left the ice.

Sometimes , sports can be cruel...to score with .04 secs on the clock is very unfortunate.. bad break, literally for Bergy on the play, stick does not snap , game over....this game should not have gone to overtime.. Bruins played hard against a potent offense and finally broke out and snapped in 5.. oh well, like  I said sometimes sports can be cruel...

Watching tubby thomas give two points away...now that was cruel...that was just about as bad as seeing Romo fumble away a guarantee playoff win

This loss was not all Thomas's fault. Yea he did make a mistake on the last play but i thought he played well tonight. Chara screened him on Guerin's goal and it was a perfect shot anyway. Eaton's goal was a soft goal but overall i thought Timmy played well. Anytime we score 5 goals we should win the game, no excuses. We didnt deserve to win this game.....

Yes. Making a mistake constitutes handing over the game-- in some parallel universe.

Just say what comes to mind-- disregard reality.

Take a look at the goalies names on the cup and you will be reading the names of goalies that have let in soft goals. EVERY goalie who has ever stepped on the ice has let in many softies! Being realistic is not your forte, is it.

Frustrating game to say the least. The OT goal is the one that pissed me off the most though. Poor communication between TT and Wideman caused that one.

Soft goals or not last night Thomas is the only freakin reason that the Bruins are still in contention. He has not been the problem and for every game he may cost them he keps their miserable butts in many more and when he does keep them in they can't put the stupid puck in the net. Give this guy a break.

LOL  so so true !!!!!!  Patrick Roy , one of the best goalers to play the game, 4 Stanely cup rings (for J Roenick to know) ,  in the playoffs , conference final, mis-played the puck worse than I 've ever seen in a playoff,  he practically scored in his own net (anybody remember)  and the Wings won that game.
Avs went to eliminate the Wings go to the final with the Devils and guess what ???
Roy effed up again !  He still won the cup and laughed off his mistakes.
    There you have it MDizzle.

It's easy to call a goal soft when you're not the one between the pipes.

I can honestly say I never gave up a soft goal in 30+ years of puck stopping... Innocent  LOL
