    A wonderful door stop. That trophy for most points in the regular season can be used to hold the locker door open while they take their gear home.

    wally has no point for what he says. he will post this sort of thread and someone else will post the same exact type of thread and he will reply on that one saying that that person is an idiot. he just likes starting internet fights because he is a child.

    This is a pointless subject.

    If winning the regular guarantees that you win in the playoffs, there would be no reason to have a Stanley Cup Playoffs at all.

    It's two separate seasons, in order to position yourself for a run at the Cup , you have to play well in the regular season.

    Think about teams like the Islanders and Buffalo. They played like sh*t in the regular season, so they had '0' chance in the playoffs because they weren't invited.

    If it was easy, we'd all be doing it. But it's not easy. NHL hockey is only for the best and the Stanley Cup is won by the best of the best. That's why it means so much.

    The Bruins aren't there yet , but little by little , the organization is sending the message that this is a team to be respected. 2007, no playoffs. 2008 , 8th place , lost tough 7 game series. 2009 , won regular season, won 1st round, lost tough 7 game 2nd round to a very hard working team.

    Nothing to be ashamed of , this is progress. But to the impatient ones it's just another failure.

    Hab fans best not whine when Bruins fans post on their site....  because they're coming out in force to rip the boys - - it's the only way to make themselves feel better about their utterly pathetic team/management....

    If Wally truly is a Leafs fan, he really needs to think about how pathetic he is.  Like anyone said having the most points in a season (the sharks - not the Bruins) means anything other that the team played well all season long?   These people wasting the time of others posting retarded blurbs...  pointless rants coming  especially from Canadians are sooooo disappointing because they try so hard to convince the rest of the world that they are hockey-savvy people... from what I see from Leaf and Habs trolls - that probably was true about trolls' parents in the past...
