I was going to re-post what I wrote in that thread, but I needed to amend some stats, so here are the NEW stats, as of today:
Thomas has 3 straight All-Star appearances and wins. No other goalie has done this. EVER!
Thomas: 3 less wins.....in 15 less games this year.
Thomas: Lead the league all year in sv% and gaa, Price: 9th & 10th currently
Tied with 8 shutouts each, Thomas has played 15 fewer games.
Thomas: 54 less goals allowed in 15 less games (3.6 per for Price on average)
Thomas: 2009 Vezina, Jennings, Crozier & 1st All-Star Team. Price?????
Thomas: 2010 Silver Medal Olympian. Price?????
Thomas: WINNING playoff record: 18 games, 10-8, .925sv%, 2.25gaa
Price: LOSING playoff record: 19 games, 5-11, .894sv%, 3.17gaa
Thomas is FAR too busy being one of the best goalies in the league over the past few years to hold Prices jock strap. Anyone who believes otherwise is a homer or hater. Whether they are a Tuukka or Price homer, it doesnt matter. Thomas has some of the best stats over the past 3 seasons, and he'll only add to them this year with MORE playoff wins and MORE hardware (Vezina for sure, possibly a couple others). -

Update:
There is an industrial cleaning crew on the scene.
Price's panties are now being removed with a power sprayer and those will be added to the Bruins HOF display case section in the lobby of the Garden. -

Great B's win lst night but gotta come to the aid of a fellow netminder here. if not for Price that game would have been 7-0 after the 2nd period. His team stunk last night, 2 goals he had no chance on. The b's had a 4 min pp where they kept the puck in the zone the whole time. He stood on his head. That game last night did cost him the vezina though, and thwarted TT back into the fron runner.

True that, hows my reading!!!...one more thing.
I'm thinking if TT gets that G.A.A under 2.00 how the heck can he be denied MVP...I know it traditionally goes to players since they have the Vezina but no forward is running away with the title..Sedin will garner votes and deservedly so but if it goes under 2.00 I just think its too hard to ignore. -

Thomas won't get an MVP, but he is absolutely deserving.

i watched the after game show on rds and when micheal bergeron said habs had the advantage in goal over bruins p. j. stock really took him up on that..love watching that show when the fakers lose...bergeron said if he was coaching gomez gionta and two others would have been told not bother coming out for the third period...he really fed them good and i loved it lol -

Yeah,that hack Pierre McGuire kept going on about the courageous effort by Gomez last night.I thought he played awful.Habs made a bunch of terrible turnovers because they seemed to be afraid to take a hit.It was awesome. -
