Anyone see Duchene's version of the wrap-around last night?  That was clever.

Ease up on the Crosby b@ll washing McGuire LoL

He's the worst of a large cast.  Watched the Senators-Ducks last night and every scoring update for the first two periods was: "Pens vs. the Islanders, which you know means a three point night or better for Sidney Crosby...".  When they got to the fourth Isles goal, though, the same desk jockey said "should probably have mentioned that the Pens have had trouble with the Isles lately...".

Now you see why Khudobin signed with the Canes rather than the B's for the same money. Ward has been getting hurt it seems every year ala Rick DiPietro and with it more playing time for Anton to prove he's a number #1. Unfortunately for Khudo he got hurt as well although the Canes expect him back soon. Speaking of DiPietro, i see he's signed a AHL deal with Carolina's affiliate, whats a multi millionaire going to do in his spare time anyway?

AHL - the best men's league around.

The Flames are having their way with the visiting Caps.  They're ahead 2-0 with just under 12 minutes left in the first.  The team in front of Holtby seem to be unable to keep up with Calgary.  Ramo in goal for the Flames.

Make that 3-1 Flames.  Holtby's out. Neuvirth in.

Caps goaltending could ultimately be a problem. Maybe another interested party in the Ryan Miller mix.

Betcha Regier insists on Carlson. From what I read yesterday Buffalo kept asking Toronto for some of their young players in Return for Vanek but were rebuffed. Snow paid the price that the Leafs wouldn't.

Just tuned in Dallas visiting the Habs on TSN.  Early in the second it's Montreal up 1-0.  Haven't seen much of Seguin.  So far I haven't seen any 1-on-2's from him. Seen more of Ray Whitney.  What was wrong with the previous Stars uniform that they had to change to these?  Kinda liked the collegiate look they old ones had.  Cool logo on the new ones though.

Seguin's in between Benn and Cole.

Re: 2013/14 Around the League Tracker

Now 2-1 Habs. Dallas d-guy held the puck behind his own for net for what seemed like at least 10 seconds waiting for a line change.  Montreal had a center in between the faceoff circles and wingers just inside the Stars' blueline.

The Dallas defenseman hit a streaking Cody Eakin with a perfect pass up the middle between the Hab forwards.  Eakin, in full stride, crosses the Montreal blueline and snaps a hard wrist shot past Price stick side.

Ray Ferraro just said Lane MacDermid came over from Boston as part of the big Seguin trade last summer.

2-0 Flyers......no wait, its 2-2 now....no, no it isn't 3-2 Ducks with 2 mins to play. Perry Mason in net for Philly.

Haven't noticed him too much either but to be fair i have been flipping between that game and the Flyers/Ducks and NYR/NYI. I did notice Tyler is a -2 though but as has been stated before plus/minus is a team stat.

Oilers only want to play run and gun it seems. The overall team D is atrocious.

Maybe if Hamilton Berger was in net for the Ducks, things would have been different.

This should suit Yakupov fine, dez.  He doesn't want to skate and check anyway.

50, Ray Ferraro was all over him on the Habs' second goal saying he should have come out further to the Montreal defenseman who dished off the puck on the go-ahead goal.  He ran a replay of the goal to support his view.  He and linemate Benn have the makings of a dynamic combo.

Leafs 4, Oilers 0 in Edmonton.  Kessel with 2 goals and 2 assists.  Reimer got the shutout.
