I'm going to go watch figure skating instead - this is too painful.

Latvia making Canada work for it.
As a canadian this team is soft and embarrassing.  They deserve this.
Olympic hockey anyone? I think Canada will win and maybe the semi final will be a better game but i sure won't hold my breath.Entire tournament has been a bust as far as i am concerned, gold  medal for Canada or not, boring.NHL players getting injured doesn't help.Just say no to South Korea.

Not a goal but should be a penalty shot. But I don't think you can call closing the hand on the puck from a replay.

Canada would be in some real trouble if Lativa could make better break out passes.

No, you can't but I wasnt sure. I'm not sure what thye can or can't review in the Olympics. At first I didnt even think they would go to the replay.

Toews better be on the ice as much as possible now. He is going into his usual beast mode.

Gudlevskis (spelling??) is playing a heck of a game. His defense too, even with the shot totals what they are. Team has shown some heart.

I think it's funny that people are complaining about the style of hockey in the Olympics.  "Hey, they're playing too much defense!"

So, is Rask any good now? I think the Bruins should keep him.

And Loui, just a goal and assist. Not bad for a broken down old man as some would have us believe.
Rask was very good but the fins didnt give them many chances. Rask stopped the play lots.  That was a great team win.
OMG! You say the dumbest things sometimes! If this was Crawford you'd be going on & on about how great he was, but you won't give Rask that credit! He lost the Canadian game, BUT he defineatley WON this one with HUGE saves at HUGE times! That's what great goaltending is you fawking DOLT! Fawk you pisss me off sometimes!
I gave credit to him and did not say he lost the canadian game.   I think he played equally well in both.  But i dont think canada had great chances nor do i think russia had great chances.  I think as a team they played great and there were no second chances.  Rask slowed the play down perfectly.  If that is an insult you better give your head a few shakes.  I dont think rask stole that game.  The team played awesome.
I said he lost the Canadian game. He should've made that save, but today without question he was the difference stopping Semin, Ovie & Malkin on multiple occasions & that Russian shorthanded save off Emlin was one of the best of the tournament! And as I said IF this was Crawford that had this kind of game. You wouldn't be talking about "how great the team played" You're not a Rask fan at all. You don't trust him & I think you should just start admitting that.
Ive praised him all year and in this tourny.   He played equally well in both games.  I can barely remember ovi getting a chance.  The fins did an awesome job against both teams and keeping everything on the outside.  I said he played very well.  I dont think he stole this game.  As for losing to canada i dont think it was on rask.  Yes he should make that save.  If his team scores three and gives him a lead like today it could have been different.   I think you should stop trying to think for me.   Rask wasnt even the first star.  It was a great team effort.  Thats what i remember from that game.
