    A Better Night's Sleep

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but I couldn't sleep after that loss Monday night.  I hit the sack at 9:30 last night, exhausted.

I'm too old to let losses effect me this way, right?  I told my mid-twenties son, "Don't lose sleep over it, it's out of your control" (Do as I say, not as I do).

I remember two other Bruins losses affecting me to this extent:

The 2010 double 3-0 (up in games & in game 7) loss to the Flyers.

The 1979 "Too many men on the ice" game seven loss to the Habs in the semi-finals.  You knew the winner in that series was going to trounce the Rangers, which the Scabs did.

Oh well, it's all part of being a Bruins fan's legacy, & I wouldn't have it any other way.

agreed. My wife's snoring didn't help either...
