This trip is a test, but with injuries and the flu bug hitting the team if they struggle I wont hold it against them.

Neither will I. But a win or two would be nice.

They failed the test.  Long shot = maybe 1 point out of SJ.

I can tell ya this: Rask better get his act together or this is going to be a rough month....ain't no  Oilers, Flames and Isles on the sched soon...oh, wait they got creamed by the Isles.  Oops.

    Re: A Big Test

Unfortunately for all the soothsayers...there's nothing "definitive" about anything that happens to an injury riddled team in January.  Sure 3 wins would be nice, and it certainly would be a confidence builder, but a couple losses to inferier teams a little later in the month would ruin all of that anyway.  The regular season is a grind.  The Bruins aren't getting the results they want right now.  They'll snap out of it, and have at least one more bad stretch before the playoffs.

Pittsburgh swept our guys in the regular season last year.  How definitive was that?

You got that right but Seidenberg will need to be replaced.

Yep, they sure are. But who really cares? Its hockey. You win some you lose some.
