The segues from song to song were so inventive for their time. And just discussing the album in total, the off note end of side one still makes me jump out of my skin. I have listened to "She's So Heavy" probably a thousand times, and it still catches me unawares most of the time.

    I love "She's So Heavy"

Abbey Road, Sgt Pepper's and The White Album are my favs.  But Revolver, Let It Be and Magical Mystery Tour are great too!

Mean Mr. Mustard sleeps in the park
Shaves in the dark, trying to save paper

Sleeps in a hole in the road
Saving up to buy some clothes
Keeps a ten-bob note up his nose

                                     Such a mean old man
                                     Such a mean old man

His sister Pam works in a shop
                             She never stops, she's a go-getter

Takes him out to look at the Queen
Only place that he's ever been
                          Always shouts out something obscene

                                     Such a dirty old man
                                        Dirty old man

bim?  Ryder's European in what way?  Lucic is BC born.

For what it's worth?  The only NHLer of Portuguese descent I can think of - though he's also Canadian born - is Mike Ribeiro.  I think that says it all.

    Re: American Forwards

Fuuny thing about Portugese athletes.... mainly soccer since that's pretty much all they have is:

    1) Kings (or should I say queens) of choking. They are always supposed to have the best team on paper but always fall short in early rounds of elimination.
    2) Their best (!) athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo is the inventor of the dive. So much talent but likes to dive and draw the officials attention (sound familiar?)

So, that being said, looks like the 2 only things that Greatseason ever talks about (might also be because of lack of functioning brain cells) have been mastered by her home countries most popular sports team!
