All this talk about Parise, I have a slightly more cost effecient idea. I only see one hole on the forward group now - number one RW, a spot that could easily be filled by Seguin, leaving a hole on the second line wing.
One under the radar UFA wing that could fill that hole at a reasonable price, and fit into the Bruins style of play, is Juri Hudler. With third line minutes he was able to pull in 25 a and 25 g, this year with only 15:40 TOI.
He has a solid two-way game that fits with Bergeron and Marchand. He lacks outstanding size or physical presence, but he makes up for it with fantastic positional play. His point total was down in 2010-2011 due to injury, but he hit the 57 mark in his previous season with the Wings.
He may have an interest in signing with the KHL instead, but with an increase in TOI alongside Bergeron, he could easily be a 60+ point player on the second line, and his cap hit would likely be comparable to Kelly's maybe slightly more.
