    I never called for a benching... just wanted accountability.

    His goal never happens if Krejci didn't intercept Backstrom's garbage.

    Agreed BadHab, I don't even think the poster of that thread really wanted to bench Seguin, I think he was more looking to get attention with the thread title.  I think in his second post on that thread he says as much.

    He did out smart Holtby how many Bruins score a similar goal this series the kids got the talent. The rebirth of Stevie Y. Sorry for being abrupt but thier was a thread saying bench the kid.

    That move works if you are a pure goal scorer. Big Z tried to hold on too long and almost blew the game. He should have taken the wide open shot right from the start. I'll also admit -- easy for me to say watching the play from my camera angle. He had to make tha split second decision -- not me. I've been in similar situations and completely fanned on the shot.

    It is funny that some people wanted him benched. He is clearly their most skilled player.
