Nope. He wouldnt have that production playing on the third line in Boston. Winnipeg is a good fit. The trade worked out well for both teams.

Wheeler has played better witnessed in the last game.  He was not offsides nor did trip over the blue line.  He does need to learn of a one timer, and he must realize Chara plays on the Bs.  Wheeler always thought of himself as a first liner while he was with the Bs.  He has learned that he is not.  As for Peverly, after four games I will reserve judgement.  So Stanley are you living in Montreal as a 32 year old techy, or are 59 years of age?  Do you have a son who was ridiculed by Montreal fans a few years ago?  Or are you just having fun while posting nonesense?  I will say this, you do get posters to react.  

The second point, was an empty net goal.

and projected points for Pev according to the same source = 12 poins

ok - he'll get more than 38, but he will not get 18 goals. As I said when you made the prediction the first time, he's not used as the goal scorer, he's there to move the puck. He only had 17 goals last season - you really think hs goal production rate will nearly double?

Stanley, be realistic.  Which Bruin winger would you take off the Top 2 lines to have Wheeler get the minutes necessary to get the production (projections) you speak of? 

Marchand? No.

Seguin? No.

Lucic? No.

Horton? No.

The  guys above bring intangibles such as grit, speed, toughness, and quick release---all skills that Wheeler does not bring on a consistent game-to-game basis.  Peverley knows his role as a third liner and does it reasonably well.  Wheeler in a B's uni as a 3rd liner is simply not a good fit.
