    In response to Hanrahan1's comment:

The love in with the Habs is absolutely sickening. I may have hated the Habs in the 60s and 70s but I respected their talent and their class as well. Can't say that about the jokers who flop around the Bell Center now though.

Before this series started -- I told my Ranger fans -- "so you get to play the Canadian diving team". Habs tonight (Game 4) taking embellishment to a new level. My wife who has little knowledge of the game and rarely joins me in viewing -- said a couple of times -- "what is this -- a soccer game with these guys flipping all over without getting touched".

Milbury had it right between periods -- "this is Oscar winning not even Emmy winning" "there should be a 2 min penalty for the infraction and a 4 minute for the embellishment and this garbage would stop".

Wow don't think I have ever seen Keith with that bad of a turnover before.

Too bad the Bs don't have the cap room for Gaborik.

It seemed like Gaborik was always injured with the Rangers.  The B's dont need a player like that.

Should we do a guestimate of the pp ratio tonight? I say 10-2 in favour of the Habs

He's certainly good enough to play on the penalty kill, doesn't get much time due to his 5 on 5 time and the fact that he typically plays all 2 minutes of the power play.

Lundqvist letting in a softy, I wonder if that changes the opinion of him in here.

Someone has to soak up the 20mins a night Emelin plays (including pk time). As long as the game is close Bealieau (sp?) won't play any more than 12-14 mins tonight. Weaver only plays bottom 6 pairing minutes so that means Subban, Markov, and Geogres need to play a little more. Could get a little fatigued by the end, especially if this game goes to ot.

Tokarski is actually a good goalie. Habs D has left him hanging after he makes the 1st save.

Re: Around the league tracker - playoff version 2014

Rags had the PP edge tonight. The league can't decide if it wants a Canadian team in there or now that the Kings are looking solid -- an NHL dream L.A. vs New York series.

I'm all for letting these 2 teams concuss each other for another 2 games and have the Western Conference sweep the finals in grand fashion. For whatever it's worth -- If Kings make it to the finals they should have home ice adv over the Rags but Habs take the tie breaker based on more ROW's.
