kind of agree with you, but theres only a couple of weeks left to turn this team around, and get all the players back in shape. If they play like they did in the first couple of months no team will stop them.

Everyone in Canada wants Leafs vs Canadiens 1st Round - Leafs are so much krytonite to the Canadiens.(Canadiens are the Bruins' kryptonite)
I dunno, maybe that (Habs vs Leafs) would be good. Let the Leafs take the Habs out.

I want the Bruins on the Main Stage though - All Canada watching - not in some barn in Uniondale

For me anyone but the Rangers.  I want the Habs and Toronto to play in the 1st round.

I'd love to see a B's/Leafs matchup, just the atmosphere alone would be awesome watch. Then add in the fact you can go right to the comments section on TSN after a Leafs loss for some chuckles.

Teams I want to face since I think the B's will be more motivated...

    Washington, Pitt, and Montreal

Teams I don't want to face since they might have something to prove...

    NYR, NY Isle, and Ottawa

A matchup where both teams will be equally motivated...

    Toronto

A team I am not sure about facing...

    NJD

I don't care who they get.

I do badly want the Rangers out though. I cannot stand to look at Tortorella's puss one second more.

The standings are very close to

    Pitt -rangers

Mtl- ottawa ( it can happen)

Wash -Isl ( same as above)

    Bos- Tor

What a great 1st rd that would be, but i really hope its Pitts- rangers,

I dont mind the Bs and toronto.

I'd love to see a bubble team sneak in and bump the Rangers.  Islanders in, Rangers out.  Pure comedy.

I was just saying today that Rangers out/ Blue Jackets in after the Nash deal is pure delicious. Add in a Wild out with the 2 headed shopping they did and the hilarity continues.

As far as the B's are concerned, I remember getting roasted in here last year when I said the B's would likely lose to Washington regardless of how favored they were by the "experts,"... because the B's always stink against Washington.

I feel the same way this year. I do not want any part of Washington or the Rangers. The B's will be playing golf very quickly.

Im not afraid of the Leafs, but I dont dislike them either. No real desire to beat them for any particular reason. Probably the B's best chance, though.

The B's have a nice record against Ottawa, but their wins have all pretty much been 1 goal, kinda lucky games. That stuff evens out sometimes.

I guess the big thing is if they dont play better than they have been for weeks now, it wont matter who they face, they will have a short playoff.

The way we're playing now......I don't think we can beat any of them. A few weeks from now if we get healthy (and start resting players), that's another story.

Re: As Bruin fans Who do you want in Round 1?

In an early press conference shortly after taking over for Burke Dave Nonis referenced the Bruins as the type of team his Leafs were going to pattern themselves after.  After years of futility Leaf fans are beating their chests at the success and tough style of their team and rightfully so.

I like the idea of the Bruins and Toronto hooking up with the Bruins showing the upstarts they still have a way to go before thinking they can knock them off.

Any team that hasn't figured out CJ's system yet - maybe the Belfast Giants?

As I was just about to type Reimer doesn't frighten me. Freakin Peters just beat the Bs!

I Think the way Islanders are playing they will leap frog the Senators and I do like the remaining schedule for the Bs to pass Montreal. Ottawa doesn't stand a chance against Boston even though they have made a great run.

I agree, but everyone has taken the sens lightly.  they play much harder then the bruins every night.  Have amazing goalies and most games will be 2-1.  edge bruins bc of marchand bergie seguin.

Re: As Bruin fans Who do you want in Round 1?

If they can squeak in and grab 7th with Boston getting 2nd, the best scenario for Boston would be the Jets - even though it would be a personal nightmare for me. An inexperienced team that doesn't have the guns to stick with the Bruins. I think it would be a quick 4-5 game win for the Bruins. Other than that, I think there's too much parity to pick an opponent over another one.

Though, for my own mental health if the Jets can pull this off still I'd rather they play the Pens or Habs in the first round.
