    Best Bruins Names Ever.

I was thinking about this the other night: Skills aside, who is in your top 5 all-time Boston Bruin names?

    1. Nevin Markwart
    2. Glen Featherstone
    3. Darren Van Impe
    4. Mikko Eloranta
    5. Brandon Bochenski

IMO, the current Bruins roster is a bit lacking in this area. I hope Bruins management decides to address this need in the off-season (Swapping Chris Kelly for Torey Krug may do the trick).

    1. Wayne "Weiner" Brown...too much info.

    2. Dit Clapper.....what more can I say?

    3. Armond Delmonte .....is this not a terrific porn star name?

    4. Phil "Nip" Gergesheimer....was it cold in the locker room that year?

    5.Carl Mokosak...he did what?

    bonus:

Jim "Peggy" O'Neill.....must have been the first and only coed season in NHL history.

    Steve Heinz

Always wanted him to wear #57. Think he did after he left the Bruins. Not sure where he ended up but always brought a smile to my face when I saw him and his  number on the ice

Too much "easter cheer" I think Olsonic.

By the way, Loob actually got 50 one year. He was a very good player.

heh...well not quite. He won a cup in 89 and then bolted back to the mother country because the NHL was getting too rough for him.

    Loob was a slippery player.

    John Blue, Andy Moog.

CBC did a madonna parody for moog one year in the playoffs where they replaced the word vogue everytime with moog, terrible but awesome at the same time.

If memory serves, in his last game as a Flame he assisted on Lanny's goal in the Final game of the Cup. I think that put him in near legend status in Cowtown.

Crowls - Whatever happened to nicknames?  Nifty Middleton.  Espo.  Turk.  Bronco.  Pie McKenzie.  Taz.  The Big M.  Harvey Busher Jackson.  Big Train Conacher.  Cyclone Taylor.  Even forward lines had nicknames.  Not now.  It's died.
