best trade for the bruins now

J'aimerais que quelqu'un me traduise mon post. My english is not very good

Notre équipe est trop petite pour gagner la cup stanley .il faut faire des   changement pour toute suite et a long terme.et je m'explique.

our club it too little for win the stanley cup . the flyers is the  best club now.

                                    Ryder, wheeler,Hamill, Ference  Boston

autre echange        :  Milan Mickaleck et Chris Neil     Ottawa
1 er choix de toronto 2011       Boston

line up Boston Bruins : Lucic  Bergeron  Marchand

                                    Michaleck(6 ft 2)  Kreci  Horton

                                    Recchi   Séguin  ( 6ft 2) Neil

                                    Pyatt(6ft 4)   Campbell  Thorton

                                   Caron( next year remplace Recchi)

                                    Chara  Yandle

                                    Seindenberg  Boychuck

                                   Stuart    Mcquaid

              Lucic  Bergeron   Marchand

              Mickaleck  kreci   Horton

Recchi  séguin Neil (protector de seguin)

Sorry my french is not that good....but what I got out of that was...can I trade my bag of pucks for your superstar.... It might sound sexier in french....but trust me....there have been enough silly trade proposals on here. Having one in french is a first....but it's just as dumb, had it been written in english.

Habs fans want one thing: they want someone with a French last name to score 40-50 goals.  That is the priority.  Not winning the Cup.

Re: best trade for the bruins now

Translation (best I could do, anyhow):
    *--------------------------*
Trade Ryder: He isn't a hard-working player and each club isn't afraid of him.  He doesn't hit and his salary is too much ($4M)

Trade Hamill: Too small, he could be attractive for another team.  No future with the Bruins, very bad choice.

Trade Ference: Good player.  He could get a pick and I think that it is better to sign a contract with Mark Stuart who is bigger and less expensive to develop in our organization.  A third pair defenseman with McQuaid.  Two solid players that will drop the gloves from time to time.

Trade Wheeler: I like him alot but he's a player I did not want signed last year when the Bruins were in arbitration.  his demand was too expensive.  I think we can replace him with Caron or Colbourne in the next year.

Trade: Toronto's first pick to have a good chance, reinforce our team on defense.  With those changes we could build quite a club.  Bigger players, intimidating, faster, and tougher.

The trade would be: Keith Yandle, 45 points and Tyler Pyatt, 13 goals. (Pho)
                                  Ryder, Wheeler, Hamill, Ference (bos)

Another trade: Milan Michalek and Chris Neil (Ott)
                         Toronto's first pick in 2011

    (lines....)

All depends what team they're playing against.  I assure you the team will go very well.  Michalek and Krejci are both Czech.  Pyatt is very imposing in front of the net and is not afraid.  Chis Neil could aide Shawn Thornton in the series.  Yandle played with Brad Marchand in Moncton while in Juniors that's a complete player on the Power Play.  The salary cap will not be as high than that we have now.
    *--------------------------*

Alas, I think BeezFan4Life summed it up.  It's still a "give me your best for the guys we don't want."

Re: best trade for the bruins now

We definitely would not be giving up garbage. Wheeler is still very young, improving and has a whole lot more talent to bring out. Ference has been healthy and playing very good defense for some time now. Hamill has made vast improvement this season and is competing harder. He is getting scout's attention. Ryder might be a bust but he also might be just the rental a team needs at the deadline. Perhaps we focus so much on their blunders we lose sight of their upside. Certainly not garbage and I'm sure teams are willing to bite. Somebody wanted Wideman even after last season.

This guy mostly wants to see the Bruins beef up a bit and his ideas aren't so bad. KPD even talked about how the Bruins are always hurt at the C position and might be looking for a bigger center.

I think it's ignorant to criticize this guy for offering his opinion and for his language limitations. He at least made an intelligent suggestion whether anyone agrees or not. Would y'all prefer the usual idiocy that pops up on this forum almost every day? Lets give Thomas away for nothing coz we can't have two starting goalies, lets trade Paille for Crosby Malkin and whoever, Julie must go (when they lose), JJ is too cheap, Mark Stuart is a #2 et al.

Re: best trade for the bruins now

Niftybear, I agree... I'm not bashing him for his main point or his effort.  The only thing I think is really difficult to agree with is getting Yandle from Phoenix for what he proposed.  It would take a bit more than a collection of bottom-half guys.

I'm not sold on Wheeler as much as some people are... if he's got so much "potential" let's use that as a bargaining chip and send him somewhere else to reach it.  Talk about soft...  All you hear is "potential, potential" yet the kid's point totals are going DOWN each season.  No thanks... I've seen enough.

I have no problem with Ference and would prefer to keep him, if possible.  But if he were to go in some other package that yielded Yandle, I would accept that.

Bashing him because he speaks French is moronic...

Stanley... Recchi, Ryder, Bergeron, Marchand, Ference, Stuart, Kampfer, and Krejci aren't exactly bohemoths... And excluding Z, the rest of the team is about average in size or slightly above.

If you put them toe-to-toe with Philly right now, they would definitely be considered the smaller team.

Andrew Ference is under-rated and overly criticized in these forums.  He is exceedingly quick, never out of position, a superb skater, and plays with total heart.  Late in the Carolina game Thomas was down and some Carolina forward was breaking across the slot.  Ference threw himself down BEHIND Thomas, horizontally, to block any shot, and then when the puck cleared the area, he instantly popped back up onto his feet, pursuing the play!!

There is a reason that he leads the team in plus-minus.

    Do not trade Ference.

I wonder sometimes, how there is ever a sunday dinner ever made with all these turnups falling off the truck.

Not one manager in the NHL would give up
    Ryder30  523GP 158G 164A  322PTS 233PM   PO-45GP   12G 14A 26PTS 16PM
    for
    Neil31 632GP 74G 94A 168PTS  1619PM PLAYOFFS- 74GP  7G  5A  12PTS 131PM LET ALONE A DRAFT PICK.

The only player I would trade for Neil, would be Thorn or maybe Pail, they are the only 2 he will be an upgrade on and Thorn is actually outscoring him this year. Talk about your bag of pucks.

By the by, Julie must go, even when they win, but it is easier to accept his posturing, flustering and stupidity when they win.  When they lose, it is so easy to see that he is so far out of his depth, he can't find the surface.

Chiarelli has wanted Chris Neil for some time now.  I'm sure Neely feels the same.  This team needs some jam.  Someone to crack some heads in front of the net.

I would be not be surprised to see Neil and defenceman Filip Kuba coming to Boston for a package of picks, and prospects incl. Jamie Arniel or Zach Hamill.

Neil signed a deal this year at 2m per season for Ott.  That's a lot of change in the salary cap era for a 4th line forward..Thornton makes about 1/3 of that for example and his #'s this year are better across the board than Neil's.
Not saying I wouldn't like Neil on my team, just stating you'd have to send $ back and if that happened I don't see Ott wanting to make the deal.
