    Brilliant article. Loved the Avery line:

    Forced the NHL to enact a new rule that was basically "don't be a dink."

    Great list. Only disagree with Verbeek.

    My personal most hated was Hunter. During '82 divisional finals -- B's vs Nordiques -- Hunter poked, slashed and speared O'Reilly with the refs constantly turning a blind eye. O'Reilly finally had enough only to be held back by Andy Van Hellemond which prompted him to basically bi*ch slap the ref. O'Reilly was suspended for 10 games and the B's lost that series 4-3.

    Claude Lemieux has to be near the top.  Cooke.  The Rat.  Ulf. Tucker.  Hunter(Who i loved).

    My favorites:  Grimson's meltdown, Claude Lemieux's shadow boxing, Barnaby vs. Ray, the announcer at 1:28 of Tucker vs. the bench, and Tik the Kissing Bandit.

    Almost worse than Barnaby was Trefilov skating 200 feet to attack Snow while he was tied up with Barnaby....almost. Got to feel bad for Brindamour for sure...lol.
