Take a breath, Bookerooni. Just a different look, that's all.
I was surprised when I noticed it.
True enough - that was probably the thing that got me the most in the aftershock of game six - Marchand goes pointless for the Finals. Absolutely stunned. At the risk of throwing even a splinter of a bone to the Jagr haters, I think there was an element of Jagr's struggles bleeding over to the other wing. So much became about getting JJ off the schneid - forcing the play to him to get him going and unlock that potential - that Marchand got on the schneid.
Sort of a side note, maybe worthy of a thread, but the flip side of this is that Bergeron had 9 goals in 22 games with Jagr as his right wing, and only 10 in 44 games with Seguin. I wonder...does Bergeron have more success as a shooter when he has the right RW?
