    Blues own the Bruins

St Louis' Record for the last 23 some odd years against the Bruins.

    1990's - 10-7-3

    2000's - 10-2

    2010's - 2-2

That 22-11-3. I always get worried when they play.

    Just an FYI.

Must be pay back for the 1970 Stanley Cup finals that the Bruins swept from the Blues ! Lol

    BUT on a broader note:

Since Bobby Orr's game-winner in 1970, Boston teams have swept St. Louis in title games ("70 Cup, "02 Super Bowl, '04 and '13 Baseball World Series')

I'm of the opinion that the past has nothing to do with the present in this sense.  The next matchup will go one way or the other based solely on the matchup of the day, not the past.

Nothing more too add to this thread.

PS. Can't really expect much from someone who can't spell Bobby Orr's hometown the right way Sealed

I can't say I remember all of those games, I may not have even watched them all... but I did watch last night. And they certainly did not own the Bruins! And I don't remember seeing the Blues in the Cup finals two of the past three years.

Well, there was an NBA team called the St. Louis Hawks who became the Atlanta Hawks.  The C's beat them in '57, '60, '61.  But....the Hawks did beat the C's in '58 for the title.....ahhh, they're in Atlanta now, right?

    Still Boston 7 - 1  Cool

The historical stats and facts crack me up.  People think they're relevant.

"The Bruins may face a tough game against Team A today.  Since 1992, they've only won two of the matchups, and those were Monday games."
