not to put a wet blanket on all this, but i didn't root for bourke to win a cup with colorado. he left boston, of his own accord. loved him as a bruin, ignored him when he played for the avalanche. keep orr around, how can the b's not respond to his presence?
Wasn't that priceless. The greatest Bruin ever there suppoeting the team and getting everyone fired up. He looked great. I am sure he will be at game six. Wouldn't that be something if that was the clinching game with Orr there.

Not only greatest Bruin ever ...greatest hockey player ever ...yesterday here in Mtl on CKAC Pierre Butch Bouchard called him the greatest hockey player of all time ....if you dont remember Bouchard go on Youtube and type Stan Johnatan vs Pierre Bouchard ....

Not Borque's fault he wasn't going to win here. Those teams stunk.
He's a Bruin through and through.

Wasn't Ray's fault Sinden & company wouldn't open the pockets enough to win it. Ray was a Bruin & will always will be a Bruin. Anyone who says different just has sour grapes & really don't have much of a personality to not be happy for the guy who worked as hard as he did.  The man deserved to win a cup. And I'm glad he did! Atta boii Ray!

It was not Orr's decision to go to Chicago.. Eagleson orchestrated the move with his buddy Bill Wirtz.. He lied , actually never let Orr know about the Bruins offer on the table which included part ownership of the Bruins,  to Orr .. To this day Orr regrets  accepting the move to Chicago because he did not know about the Bruins offer until years after.. If you think about it.. Orr could have had the opportunity to own the Bruins today .. What a weasel the Eagleson was... Plus Orr was only there for a cup of coffee..

Come on guys lets not jinx it...it's a 3 game series with possibilty of 2 of them in Vancouver where we lost 2...I'm excited but I'd like to wait til we have a good lead late in the 3rd of the clinching game...The Orr waiving the flag, that was awesome and Nathan Horton getting a chant was awesome too...
Look for one RAY BOURQUE at game 6! Especially if the B's have a chance to win it that night! Nobody put more into the Bruins in his career than this guy. Neely would've if he wasn't forced into retirement, but for 20 plus seasons this guy was the epitome of blood;sweat & tears! Now; before you all start naming B's who did the same thing. I'm talking about someone who never won a cup as a Bruin.
    Posted by nitemare-38
It would be awesome to have Bourque as long as they don't let him near Marchand. Have you seen Bourque lately, looks like he could eat him for a snack..
