    Bring It On Home...To Us

My goodness, things look so good right now.

A-1 Goaltending, good defending, forwards coming back and moving forward with ease.

Lots of defenseman. All playing well. Getting their rest.

Lots of forwards. All playing well. Getting their rest.

Everyone understands now that they don't have to do it all on their own. Lots of help to go around. Depth. Depth. Depth.

    And all this without Seidenberg.

The Best of the West have no such depth. Can't wait for them to let it all hang out in the playoffs and knock each other silly.

Come on over West boys, we got something for you....freshness. Freshness wins all the time.

Bring It On Home, Boys! Bring It On Home, To Us!

I hope I don't jinx them. But the mood is right.

Just so you don't go down in the jinx road alone. The Bruins will be facing one of these in this order for the Cup.

    1. St. Louis

    2. LA

    3. Chic

NOB, they have to win 12 games before they ever get to one of those on your list... one series at a time.

Anaheim imo are the NEW San Jose Sharks. Great regular season teams!

San Jose is still San Jose- Just older

Regular season records mean nothing in the playoffs.  The Kings won the Cup as the 8th seed.

    1. St. Louis- Improved, more experienced & they got Miller

    2. LA- Like Boston almost the same team they won it with still intact

    3. Chic- Until someone knocks them off they're still Champions

    4. Col- The Roy factor & my darkhorse team

Exactly why I don't have Anaheim or SanJose on my list.

Playoffs is playoffs.  There's something about playing the same team over and over again - the right coach gets the right mix and you get those huge upsets - almost every year.  2010 was nuts that way.

Take nothing for granted.  Enjoy every moment of this season.

Which is where depth comes in. You can never get the mix you need when you don't have the incredients. IMO- There's 4 teams that are matched in this area. St. Louis, LA, Chic & Boston.

It doesn't matter who we play in the final.

At some point of the first game, I figure the first five minutes of period three, LA or Col or Ana or StL or Chi will come to realize they don't have the legs nor the strength required to beat the Bruins.

And that is notwithstanding the usual playoff injuries.

I've taken 3 Av's in my play-off pool, because I think they're gonna surprise & go deeper than people (like yourself) think.

    Not the auto manufactures!

I didn't even realize there was a game tonight against the Devils.

    Just start the playoffs already.

Not yet. But, they could bow out in the first round as easily as they could pull off an upset.

The B's are playing very well right now but I'm sure Penguin fans were thinking the same thing last yr after a 23-4 stretch to end the season.

Good fantasy players there as they have talent and they can score.

But the defense is terrible.  Roy has them playing a good system and Varlamov has been playing well, but that blueline is awfully thin for a playoff team.  I like them, but I think they'll get exposed in the playoffs (and hopefully Friday).  AHL types like Guenin and Holden have been playing full time NHL minutes all season and generally getting bailed out by their scoring and goaltending.  I have playoff tickets, so I hope I'm wrong, but I'm kinda expecting a 1st round loss.
