Because it hit him in the hands. Get real.

explain how their play was worse than Marchand, Seguin, Peverly, Horton etc...

Because they don't have he same talent. Don't be a fool.

all that talent didn't show on the scoreboard... but you blame the guys who did???

So... two days of outrage over Jagr's linemates?

    Or more.

    Probably more

Well at least we won't have to worry about Bruin's giving up first round pick for Jagr,no chance of Bruins getting to conf final, especially with Jagr on 4 th line.or third line or whatever the crap that was.Still think Julian mad that Chirelli didn;t  get him another defensive forward.

I'm no more thinking about the playoff. I wonder who'll replace Peverley, Pandolfo, Caron, Horton, Bourque next year !!! There's not much in Providence. We'll have to try Spooner, Soderberg, Knight ???

No Seguin or Hamilton out there in that 6 on 4?  Rather than Horton and Chara.

Obviously there is a big differene between Seguin/Marchand and Paille/Campbell. This vein of the conversation is silly.

All in all a horrible game offensively for both teams.

Not one clean goal, every one off of ugly deflections

Really really bad.  Why were Thornton and Pandolfo and Daugavins even dressed? Claude panicked and shortened his bench about halfway through the First. Panicked

But what worries me more is, did Julien throw together this contingency plan (Peverley moves to #2 and Paille/Campbell/Jagr become #3) on the spot or did he plan for it. I don't know what's worse.

Marchand looks deeply depressed on the ice...

He went from playing with a fantastic center to playing with The Human Point Sinkhole.

    That's pretty depressing.

    That's for sure, man.

agree on talent alone they are better but talent alone doesn't win games and i would argue Paille and Campbell played every bit as well tonight as Marchand and Seguin

Thornton played a total of 6:19.  If he's not good enough to play with plenty of time left, why would he be good enough to play with so little time left?

    Fire Julien.

right. I'm sure Naoko will ask Julien why he skated Jagr with two scrubs, why the 4th line was out with 90 seconds left in the game and why they couldn't get a single shot off 6 on 4 with the game on the line. What a joke. that's the worst 60 minutes of coaching in quite a Long time. Someone needs to ask the questions.

That's what we're doing, over coaching.  Like the DR said this conversation for the next couple days will be murder , things like this make yu stay away.

For the record I didn't like the lines either but then again my philosophy would be to roll 3 lines. You guys ill never get it complaining every game about rolliing 4 lines and to do that all the lines must be balanced. That's Juliens's way and that's why we saw Jagr with Paille and Campbell.

But that's the problem - he didn't balance four lines, he weakened three of them.

They preach puck possession, yet the wingers enter the zone and take low percentage flicks which leads to constant turnovers.  Then on a 6 on 4, they possess the puck the entire time, yet don't take one shot.

    Is Adam Oates available?
