I've seen these jerseys in store and they look wicked. Has anyone seen or read that theywill be wearing them in any games? Or is it just a merchandising gimmic? Either way ... SOLD!!!

I believe it's just a mechandising gimmick this season seeing as all teams have them. They do similar things around specific holidays (St. Patricks Day etc...)

I asked that in the pro shop a few weeks. They said they would not be worn in games.

what about the new pink hat jersey .... the one that has flashing lights in circular formation around the B .

Exactly...or as somebody else posted, it looks like a laundry accident. Which is why my teen son wants it. ALL HIS CLOTHES look like a factory mistake!
I'm pretty sure that sweater isn't aimed at my demographic anyway. I'm betting it's going to be huge with the younger guys. You can probably determine who is over or under 30 by whether they want one these sweaters. :P

Yeah, I don't want them for the NHL'ers, but I think it would be great for playing pickup or to wear to the pub at playoff time.
