Only 2 periods in the books but a few quick observations considering a ton of talent watching from the booth:

Good showing by the Jets fans for a thursday night exibition game

Campbell still amazes -- fresh off the leg -- diving in front of pucks early in the first period

Svedberg looking sharp especially on the PK

Hamilton looking like he wants to stay -- throwing body on a regular basis

    B's outshot 13 - 3 in the 2nd period after a 14 - 9 showing in 1st

B's losing a ton of faceoffs all over the ice

Krug still unflappable -- stickhandling thru 2 opposing players in front of own net

Not sure what you're seeing tonight. He's been hard on the puck all night and created a couple of opportunities to score as a result. Go back and look at Smith's scoring chance early in the game and you'll see that it was Caron who won the battle to free up the puck for him after the face off was a stalemate. He's also leading the team in hits through 2 periods.

He seems to have stepped it up in the 3rd.  I was thinking of his puckhandling and playmaking.

    Is Marchand hurt?

Why is Campbell out with Louie and Bergeron?

Richard, no offense but you can't be the No. 1 fan from Montreal...I believe that title belongs to someone else, named Stanley.

Besides, how can a self proclaimed #1 fan have an account since 2009 and only have 4 posts?!?!

From what 8 have seen tonight ....Spooner should make the team ...and I think Sweet hands as well..... I am afraid that after tonight's performance  Smith might get cut ....and if he has one last chance next game he better step up or else...bye bye

I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the group young guns on the Prov/Boston Bruins.

I don't get to see much of the Providence kids.

Svedberg looks as good as his P Bruin record, just needs some NHL seasoning.

So now your trying to make some foolish point by telling me that Loui is good? Thanks for the news. Amazing what can happen when a pass is within your reach. Fraser played a good game tonight and you sounded like a fool in your earlier feeble attempt to trash him. Deal with it and maybe get back to me when you've finished writing the next chapter of Kabanov's biography.

Crap, I went to take a p*ss, came back, and it was the Rangers against the Canucks ! I missed the goal...

Like many of you, I think Spooner is doing great. I'd try Kelly-Spooner-Soderberg on the third. Kelly or Spooner has to play wings...

Outstanding finish by LE. Very pleased with that. Sooner reminds me of a classic 80s/90s center...a bit of Gilmour in him. I'd like him on the 3rd line. Lots of talent there.
