I wouldn't mind Ryder coming back for the right money. He was soild for us and he had 2 monster years in Dallas, not to mention a playoff perfom. Best thing i will always remember about Ryder was that amazing glove save in the Habs series, if it wasn't for him we never would of gotten the cup.

If this is the case then it makes me think PC's game plan didn't work out as he intended.

if the money is right for the third line it's great. but i doubt the money will be right. i don't see him signing for less than 3.5

Ryder can score you 25 goals in reg season score some big goals in playoffs, don't think he would be bad fit with Berg&March, they could do worse.

I don't want to see him in Boston.  Horrible to watch.  Too many fly bys and takes too many nights off.

PC's game plan didnt work out when Nathan decided to jump ship. You have to admit, that came out of left field and probably had PC scrambling, only to learn he just doesnt have the cap space to work with on the other FA's....As much as I want Rask signed, I have a feeling its higher than the B's were expecting he would ask and now PC is just trying to get funds to make a reasonable offer for the FA's. Its just not gonna be enough though.

Correct.    And when you find tyat team that has a number one goalie spot that will start with 7m a year let me know bc all the main teams just picked up goalies.    Rask is an rfa.  5-5.5 should have been the start/end pt.

Kind of pathetic considering Pc was trying to give the guy away the last year of his contract.

    Hope it is not true......

    Yuck as well!

I went to Providence College hockey camp two summers in a row and was instructed by Lou Lam, so I can root for him. Especially in this case!

    Go Devils! Go Lou Lam!

Wouldn't it have just made sense to keep Peverley?  Both are brutally inconsistent, but Peverley can take draws and PK.

If it happens, need to see dollars/term.  Should be really low and really short.

I was never a big Ryder fan but he won me over a little in the 2011 play-offs.  I would take him over Jagr.  He can at least skate and although I think he floats too much, he can score big goals like Horton.

Was hoping for Iginlay, but this might have been the best out there for the money. He knows what will be expected of him in Boston.
