    Bruins Prospect Report

I was posting these under Chowdahkid's OHL Update page but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if he stopped updating it?

    http://bruins.nhl.com/v2/ext/media/2011/prospect_report/0131_ProspectReport.pdf

For those interested, the Prospect Report is a Bimonthly report on all the players in the bruin's system. On top of that each update has a short article on a Providence player and an amateur player. The highlighted players this time are Goaltender Matt Dalton from Providence and Boston College Defenseman Tommy Cross.

Chowda's still missing so I'll keep posting these Reports under this heading.

    http://bruins.nhl.com/v2/ext/media/2011/prospect_report/0215_ProspectReport.pdf

We have Defenseman Jeff Penner from Providence and Defenseman Zach Trotman from Lake Superior State University. Zach was the 173rd pick in the 5th round of the 2008 draft.

This is the first time they posted an individual synopsis of the year on the higher ranked prospects in Providence and other leagues.

Anyone notice in the Who's Hot section that Brain McGratton has three goals and one assist in the last seven games...next call-up maybe?....lol.

Why would you want to open that can of worms so close to the deadline lol...I'd rather deal him for a first rounder or Malkin (he's hurt, Pitt probs dying to deal him for immediate help).

    Re: Bruins Prospect Report

It just brings back memories of Don Cherry stating that he coached McGratton in junior and had 20 goals one year....too bad this aspect of his game never materialized at the NHL level or he may have found a permanent home by now...oh well.

Interestingly, with those three goals he is now tied with Zach Hamill in the goal-scoring department....

    Re: Bruins Prospect Report

Thanks Capt.! Arneil has played 53 games has 15 goals. Sauve has played 35 games 13 goals 6 of them game game winners tied for the AHL lead in that category.

Sit Wheeler for two games put Recchi with Kelley and Ryder. Put Sauve with Bergeron and Marchand just for two games. I just think PC should have a quick look and this is no knock against Recchi as he is playing great but just want to see some more speed with the Bs.
