[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Bruins trade rumour : These kinds of comments just show how little knowledge some people have . I guess Boston should never have gone after Neely  since he was absolutely horrible in Vancouver ...and only found his stride when he came to Boston !

In Van Neely had a 21 goal season, 72 games.
Best Turris has done is 11 goals in 65 games.

Despite that, Turris has some skills, sure, but I wouldn't give up much for him.

    He's still a gamble IMO.

If we are trading Krejci, we better get more than just Rene Bourque in return...

None of the above would help one bit. nothing is wrong in the talent and goal soring department with this team. what we have here is a young team that's complacent and suffering with a cup hangover BIGTIME! it's all attitude and way to early to be thinking trade. Bruins will be there in the end. bank on it!

Keep our core forwards, and trade Rask. Kudo will be ready to step in. Rask is a loss machine lately, due mostly to no chemistry between him and the team, not lack of his talent. If Rask plays 25 games this year he'll lose 15, and that would keep us out of the playoffs. On the other hand, a decent true top 6 forward mught be gotten for Rask and a pick, or Rask and Caron.

Who can we get for Rask and Caron that you think is a true top 6 forward?

None of these players fit into the Bruins plans and makeup of the team.
A player like Ray Whitney from the Coyotes would bring instant veteran leadership to a Bruins team that has sorely missed Recchi since he retired.

If we can't get a decent 2d line player for the goalie who a couple of years ago carried the team (and at one time was called the best goalie in the world outside of the NHL) and a former young 1st round pick, then, my friends, we're in trouble.

    Can I pick none?
Rene Bourque and Brad Boyes are essentially the same player and have the highest ceiling, but neither one can be called consistent. The rest are 3rd liners.
