Looked like the whole team was a little hesistant to hit... could it be they fear a roughing or boarding call?

This is the Boston Bruins.  They are not hesitant to hit...ever.

Perhaps Khudobin should just stay in his crease tonight.

No kidding. Still not sure what Neal was doing with a wide open net, though. Tried to pass it or something?

Pens coming out a little harder this period but Khudobin is doing his best TT impression.

Bad play Marchand...can't give these guys PPs very often without gettign burned.

Does the best PK usually trump the best PP?

Uh, another dumb penalty... think the B's were getting a little too complacent (or tired?)

They didn't need that. They just have to kill it but yes not a good penalty by Marchand.

    Ugh.

These NBC announcers spend more time explaining what the Pens are doing wrong than what the Bruins are doing right.

If this keeps up, they'll have to change their tune by the third period.

As long as he keeps the puck out he can impersonate anyone he likes, jm.

Actually meant that as a complement. They have very similar styles and puck handling skills (that is to say they have none).

Very annoying when they call Crosby "Sid." Like they are close friends or something...

Earlier posts made it sound like they had reached the required level of intimacy with him to be on a first name basis?
