Bs giving up 5 GOALS again

Hard to win games when you have given up 5 goals in 4 of 6 games. The Bs are there own demise for lack of a pp.

Again with the goaltending, geez!! 3 PP goals, 3 back door goals with a TB player ALL ALONE and you blame the goalie?  No penalty kill, leaving guys wide open on the back door, a 2 on 1 rush with two guys getting back into the play and no making the play?  TT can only do so much, was he super duper?  No.  Was he the reason they lost?  No again.

IMO you are right about the backdoor goals. We've seen it all year. Isn't a repetative problem the responsibility of the coaches to fix?? In addition, not using Tuuka, at any time, has overworked Timmy, and his reflex moves are coming slower in each game. He tries, BUT !!!

bogie, it's not coaching. the players are not aware around the net. the first st. louis goal, three players were in front of the net, good right? they were all facing TT! not one of them was facing the action. what's clode supposed to say... pay attention to the guys in front? no kidding. as for kaberle leading the team in pp toi, that's a head scratcher.

The lack of a PP is the reason why the Bruins are playing in a game 7 tomorrow night against the Lightning, 1 PP goal in game four and we're not likely haveing this conversation. Ya great the Bruins have made it to game seven and most would be happy about the opportunity but the Bruins past game 7 history (overall) and the fact that they let game 4 get away from them will be the ultimate cause of their demise in this series.

...or all of it will be a speedbump.  Before anyone goes all goofy-eyed and doomed, consider that home ice has been huge in this series.  If not for a minute and a half of collective idiocy by the Bruins, the Bolts don't win game one.  If not for a perfect shut-down game in game 3, the Bruins don't take back home ice.  Since then, no one has won on the road. One of the biggest factors?  Last change.  When CJ has had the opportunity to match up his D pairs with the Tampa talent?  Different ball game.  Game 3 in Tampa, Boucher got out coached on the line matchups.  Game four?  He got on board.

I doubt Thomas is tired.  He had a lot of time off between the last series and this one, and usually, he starts looking tired after about 10 straight games without a rest.  He had his rest.

Thomas was not on his game at all. Lets hope he learned from this as well as the rest of the team.

Same could be said for Game 6?  If the Bruins convert one of their PPs in the first, a 2-1 lead is a 3-1 lead heading into the second.

Despite their difficulties, I think the Bruins win Game 7 at home.

Definitley not the goalie's fault. Purcells's 1st goal was a laser through a screen off a clean faceoff loss. Not TT's fault. Those are great goal scorer's goals. The 2-1 for St. Louis's second goal would have been a sick save.  That one is on Boychuk. I think TT would like to have back the second Purcell goal, yes. But, this game was not about the goalie.

PWTTT!! TT did a great job getting back to get a piece of that puck. He had all his weight on the right leg as he just moved to his left. Then the pass came back again! Yes, TT has stopped those shots numerous times; but everytime he does it's a great save. Just because he missed this one doesn't make it a bad goal.
And another thing. TT would like to have all the goals back!
