Buds Given Permission to Talk to Kiprusoff

Looks like they are finally moving past Luongo:

I wonder how he would do in the TO fishbowl?

Good he has been terrible for most of the year and very inconsistent.

Yep...only good news for the Bruins if this happens.

Their tandem at the moment is just as good as a washed up Kipper....if Feaster gets one of them coming the other way, Feaster is laughing.

Apparently 2 teams given permission.  But this is wards source.   He likely is going to the pens.

If I were the leafs id love this.  Kipper can flat out play.  Hes been on a terrible team and kept them from being a laughing stock.  I hope he goes there.

Interesting take. He has the worst save % for a starter in the NHL so it is not all just about a bad team. From what I have seen of him this season he has just completely lost it, bad goals at the worst times.

I think Nonis' hope is he can be rejuvinated with a change of scenery.

We will find out soon enough...

    Could be leverage.

we are getting kipper unless you lower you asking price.  No you arent getting bozak.  How about grab and a 2nd round pick.

Luongo won't lift his NMC to go to leafland....I don't blame him.

Battling a few injuries.  The last time he was on a new team we saw what he could do.  Hes been the crazy good over his career.  hes seen more rubber then bibi jones.

I think Kipprusoff might still have something to offer, his numbers arent good, but I dont think he's playerd as bad as they suggest.

I think Toronto would rather Luongo but the Canucks seem dead set on Bozak. If I were Vancouver I'd be looking to unload that contract, but they want value in return.

    Wait wait wait.

Kipprusoff said something about not reporting if he were traded.

What's this new stuff all about?

Not confirmed.  Likely why two teams given a chance to talk him into going.

I'm not sure where that "2 teams" is coming from.

I can only find the Leafs getting permission....

He did, NAS.  On the HNIC late game a few weeks ago one of the panel said he wouldn't go citing not wanting to uproot his young family as his wife just had a baby.  Maybe the thought of being on a sinking ship has helped change his mind.

Calgary got a young Swedish goalie in the Boumeister trade. Does this mean the end to Kippers stay in Cowtown ?   I think so.  More money for Feister to play with....

They will likely get one of TO's as well in the upcoming trade....a stop gap.
